Lately my body is not reliable. It has been too busy staring at pages and pages of books and computer screens. I haven't finished a single artwork as well and I don't really know where I'm going with this painting. My mood is not just there, It keeps on shifting. For a moment, I'm tired of not being able to talk to the one who used to know a way through the maze of my insides. 

It's probably just my sprained foot. I guess I'm not Frida Kahlo after all :p

Anyway, I have a secret Pinterest. It's funny how I get so inspired by putting pictures altogether.

The Little Secrets: Venus

Finishing things before I head off to Vientiane tonight. I'm gonna have to deal with this long day, and my pre-coffee face. Tomorrow's going to be the show! Catch an all girl art exhibit tomorrow, 6pm at this very cute travel cafe called, A Little Piece of Sky Cafe.

Ready for the show?

The first few days in the past two weeks I've been eating granola with milk and salad (the best one I've discovered at an organic store down my apartment), drank tea (a substitute for my coffee addiction), read Haruki Murakami and watched The Endless Summer over and over to put me to sleep. The city is raging around me but I found a cave where I cultivate my silence.

Ysla.

She's a girl named Ysla. She's very feminine on the outside, but can surf hardcore. She likes to bike around the island and swim with her dolphin friends, She'd rather stay at the lookout and catch the first wave at sunrise. She walks around in a bikini all day with her hair all tangled up with sand, She smiles her head up to the sun and make wishes to the sky.
